I think Lee Smith, Biggio and Piazza were deserving.
Next year you have Maddux, Glavine, and Frank Thomas that should get in along with Biggio and Piazza. I think Maddux will be first ballot maybe not for Glavine and Thomas but who knows.
Some dont like it but I like the "First Ballot" distinction. Next year I would vote for:
Lee Smith
Craig Biggio
Mike Piazza
Greg Maddux
Im on the fence for Morris and Raines.
Morris was opening day starter for like 15 years. And was the Horse for several world series winners. I know his era was kind of high but if he had a nice lead he throw strikes to allow the defense to get outs.
Raines was a darn good hitter and is number three all-time in stolen bases.
Glavine and Thomas I would vote for in their second year on the ballot.
I should add that I would NEVER vote for:
Bonds, Clemens, Sosa, McGwire, Palmeiro, or Arod.I collect a little bit of everything. But, if I never get back to you, your probably on Ignore!!
