Nationals To Sign Rafael Soriano: MLB Rumors - MLBTradeRumors.com

The Nationals agreed to sign free agent closer Rafael Soriano to a two-year, $28MM contract, Yahoo's Jeff Passan reports. The deal includes a 2015 option valued at $14MM that will vest if Soriano finishes 120 games over the course of the next two seasons.

Clippard, Storen and Soriano? Pretty nice, and the Tigers didn't sign him!

If the Yankees were going to pay him the same amount, I'd say he made the right choice. Just by looking at the current rosters, I'd say the Nationals have a better chance of making it to the 2013 W S than the Yankees. With the addition of Soriano the "Nats" will have a very strong bullpen.
