    Athletics Acquire Jed Lowrie In Five-Player Deal: MLB Rumors - MLBTradeRumors.com

    The Astros announced that they sent shortstop Jed Lowrie to the Athletics in a five-player trade. The Astros acquire Chris Carter, Brad Peacock and Max Stassi from the A's in the deal, which sends reliever Fernando Rodriguez to Oakland along with Lowrie.
