    Authenticity Question

    Just curious if anyone knows about 1993 Sporting News Conlon Collection and the printing plates. I bought this off eBay a few years ago. Believe it or not Tris Speaker is my Great Uncle. I can't afford any of his early original cards but find cool stuff of his every now and then. Anyway, could anyone tell me if this is real or fake? Thanks!

    The plates that I have seen in the past were reversed. Backwards if you will. Done so that when they print the cards they would come out right. As for what your pic shows, I have no idea. It probably wasnt used for the actual printing but is still pretty cool.
    I collect a little bit of everything. But, if I never get back to you, your probably on Ignore!!
