CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports that free agent right-hander Kyle Lohse is signing with the Brewers.
Lohse finally has a team. The 34-year-old posted a fantastic 2.86 ERA and 1.09 WHIP in 33 starts last season for the Cardinals but struggled to attract a market this winter because of the new draft pick compensation system. The Brewers will have to forfeit the 17th overall pick in 2013, but they're getting rotation stability in return. And that's exactly what they've been needing.
