    New York Mets pitcher Johan Santana has a probable re-tear in an anterior capsule in his pitching shoulder in which he previously had surgery in 2010, the team announced Thursday.

    It's too bad, after the no-hitter, everything went down hill on him. He'll probably retire from this.

    I'd say that you're right about retirement. Sounds like the same injury that knocked Chris Carpenter out last season and this season?

      When he was with the Twins he rocked. Thought for sure a possible HOFer, but no more.
