    My hometown of Kerman CA has around 14k people. One of them, Carlos Salazar, is going to be drafted early in the Baseball amatuer draft. Different sites have him going from the 1st through the 4th round. He tops out at 97-98 and hasn't allowed an earned run this season. In his last game, he allowed 1 hit and struck out 19 batters in 7 innings.
    What makes it even better is that he is a great kid and great student. He worked as an umpire for several of my son's Cal Ripken League games.
    Here's to seeing him drafted early and on a Bowman card in the next couple of years!
