Phillies to Sign Carlos Ruiz to a 3 Year Deal

Free agent catcher Carlos Ruiz will re-sign with the Phillies, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports (on Twitter). Matt Gelb of the Philadelphia Inquirer tweets that Ruiz's contract will guarantee him $26MM over three years.

The deal also contains a club option for a fourth season, tweets Gelb.

I can see Amaro is really trying to get younger!! Rick Schu, Von Hayes, and Manny Trillo are probably available to be signed!
