  • Dodgers Sign Jamey Wright

According to Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times, the Dodgers have agreed to a one-year deal with veteran reliever Jamey Wright. No word yet on the exact terms involved, but after having to settle for minor league deals in seven straight offseasons, it looks like he’s finally getting a major league deal.

Wright, who turns 39 tomorrow, posted a 3.09 ERA over 70 innings with the Rays this past season while posting career-bests with 8.4 K/9 and 3.0 BB/9. He previously pitched with the Dodgers in 2012, putting up a 3.72 ERA in 66 appearances.
