Chris Tillman agrees to one-year contract with Orioles
Chris Tillman has agreed to a one-year, $3 million deal to remain with the Baltimore Orioles, according to multiple reports.
The agreement was first reported Monday by FanRag Sports. Tillman can earn up to an additional $7 million in incentives, according to reports.
Tillman, 29, has spent his entire nine-year major league career with the Orioles, who acquired the right-hander as part of a blockbuster trade with the Seattle Mariners in 2008.
Tillman went 56-30 and was one of Baltimore's top pitchers from 2013 to 2016, but struggled with shoulder injuries last season and went 1-7 with a 7.84 ERA in 19 starts and five relief appearances.
