Emilio Bonifacio, Chicago White Sox agree to one-year deal - ESPN Chicago
The Chicago White Sox have reached agreement on a one-year, guaranteed $4 million contract with veteran utilityman Emilio Bonifacio, a baseball source confirmed to ESPN.com.
Bonifacio will make a guaranteed $3 million in 2015, the source said. The deal includes a $4 million club option for 2016 with a $1 million buyout.
Bonifacio, 29, is a .262 hitter with 164 stolen bases over eight seasons with Miami, Arizona, Kansas City, Atlanta, the Cubs, Washington and Toronto.
FoxSports.com was first to report that Bonifacio had agreed to terms with the White Sox.
