  • Jason Heyward To Start For Atlanta Braves

The Braves did what was right for the team, not for business. They announced that Jason Heyward would be the opening day right fielder. Unlike the Tampa Bay Rays with David Price last season, Washinton Nationals with Stephen Strasburg, and soon to be Cincinnatti Reds with Aroldis Chapman, they didnt let their star prospect start the season in the minors for one month just to have him for one more before they have to pay him more money.

I fixed it for you Kerwin, the Nationals have Strasburg not the Padres lol.

And it's totally different to be a young pitcher than a younger hitter. So that comparison w/ Price, Strasburg, and Chapman shouldn't matter.

Hopefully Heyward performs the entire season, i dont want to see another Jordan Scafer. But Heyward is a beast at the plate.

Rays did it with Longoria, if you want a non-pitcher comparison.
