    Ausmus to the DL, 1st time in career

    MIAMI -- Dodgers backup catcher Brad Ausmus was placed on the 15-day disabled list Saturday with a pinched nerve in his back.

    So his streak ends.... Very impressive to stay off the DL especially for catching over 1,000 games in his career.

    A.J. Ellis will be called up to back up Martin.

            Loved to watch him when he was in Houston...haven't kept up with him as much recently

            Hopefully he comes back healthy
