    In the bottom of the 12th inning Friday, with Eli Whiteside at the plate and Sandoval dancing off 3rd base with the possible winning run, it hit me. Panda's athletic cup.In the head.

      He was trying to throw it into his dugout. He was standing at 3rd base waiting for the pitch. It was bothering him and so he took it out and threw it towards his dugout but obviously missed.
