Who Has Been The Best Catcher In The Last 15 Years?

Who do you think has been the best catcher in the last 15 years? I am only naming players who played from 1995 to 2010.

This one is hard to vote on. Mike Piazza is one of the best offensive catchers ever and Ivan Rodriguez is one of the best defensive catchers ever. I went with Ivan Rodriguez because of his 13 Gold Gloves.

Rodriguez, he was a good hitter and awesome defensive catcher, although the guy will never learn to lay off that high fastball

Pudge.. the dude is HOF caliber

Yeah, Pudge it is. Piazza was better offensively, but so so defensively. Pudge's offense was actually pretty impressive compared to Piazza. Pudge has scored more runs, hits, doubles, triples, stolen bases and based on 162 game average, bested Piazza in those same categories (tied in runs). So Pudge with a good offensive career and stellar defense is the easy choice IMO.
