Well the answer to that is he lives in Detroit now. I saw him at a Sports Bar last night, he's the Vice President of a new stadium being built 5 minutes from my house, it will have the Tigers frontier minor league team, I asked a waiter if it was him because he looked familiar, didn't go up to him or anything because i didnt want to bother him, but was kinda cool.

the frontier league is independent so it is not affiliated with mlb so its not the tigers. do you know how the building of the stadium is going?

oh no sir, i've been told its affiliated with the Tigers/MLB, apparantly players from the team have made it to the 'offical' minor leagues..

Building hasnt started as far as i know, the owner of the stadium being built is also the owner of the 'Heroes' Sports Bar right where the stadium will be though

Yep, Frontier League does have affiliations....we used to have a Frontier League team here back in the day, they were affiliated with the Pirates.

I can't wait till the stadium is all built, ticket prices cheap and its 5 minutes from my house, maybe i'll see a player that one day makes it (not likely lol)

Nevermind....I was thinking of the New York-Penn League that used to be here, not the Frontier League.

NYPL had affiliations, no clue about Frontier, lol.

frontier is independent baseball, basically for guys who cant stay in the "real" minors. I cant wait for it to be built though. Doubtful anyone will make the mlb from the leauge since its not affiliated.
