What position on the baseball field is your favorite position to play?

right field.my favorite cause when i was playing as a kid my favorite player was dwight evans.

pitching.. I love the cat and mouse challenge there is.. pitcher vs batter.. each pitch is an individual battle

Pitching, if not that 1st base

I always played shortstop when I was younger.

I've always played first...a little bit of third but mainly first

Well I played more softball than baseball - in my 20's I mainly played outfield - in my 30's mainly 1st base and pitching with some outfield - in my 40's mainly pitching and catching - in my early 50's I played reserve, played only when needed. With all that said, in my opinion, the best position was catcher (because the ENTIRE game was in front of you, you got to talk to the players on the other team, and talk to "blue"). The only bad thing about catching was it sure got to my legs. Pitching was fun also, except when line drives came back directly at me (got a broken thumb on my glove hand trying to catch one).
