    The Washington Nationals selected junior college slugger Bryce Harper with the No. 1 overall pick in the baseball draft Monday night. Harper, a 17-year-old with prodigious power from the College of Southern Nevada, is one of the most-hyped players in draft history because of his eye-popping talent at the plate.

      Looks like a great pick. Could be a nice team in the future with Strasburg and now Harper.

        Nationals by being so bad have set themselves up to be actually good, a solid core of Strasburg, Zimmerman, Harper is nice, they can resign Adam Dunn possibly..those 4 would be a very good foundation

          If Nationals can sign him, they will have a good young core of players for the future.

          Angels had a pretty good draft too selecting 5 out of the first 40 picks. I hope a few of them turn out good.
