  • Bynum Returns Tonight

The Lakers are finally getting their other big man tonight in Washington. Andrew Bynum returns to the line-up after missing the first 24 games of the 2010-2011 season.

Don't expect Bynum to get 30 minutes a game right away. He has to slowly work his way back to reduce the risk of another injury. Since Theo Ratliff went down with the knee injury, the Lakers have been struggling inside. Pau Gasol has been used way too much since Phil Jackson doesn't have much faith in Derrick Character.

    Bynum told reporters on Monday:
“I just want to go out there. It’s definitely going to be in bursts, either starting or not, it’s going to be quick spurts — five minutes here, five minutes there.”

About time, Lakers should play a lot better now. Since he got injured at the beginning of this season instead of the end, I hope he is good until the Finals are over.
