  • Lakers Slow Start Leads To Ugly Loss

They didn't come out prepared tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Lakers played sloppy in the 1st half with 10 turnovers. Zach Randolph and Rudy Gay were getting open shots the entire half.

Lakers trailed 48-39 at the half and were booed by the Staples Center crowd when they came out to start the 2nd half.

But the Lakers came out strong in the 2nd half. Within the first five minutes of the half, the Lakers cut the 9-point deficit down to two. But that was the closest they would get.

Grizzlies pushed the lead up to 17 points to end the 3rd quarter.

Kobe Bryant scored 17 points in the 3rd quarter. He also received another technical foul in the 4th quarter.

Ron Artest needs to become more aggressive. He didn't contribute a single point in tonight's loss.

    Key Numbers:
    Kobe Bryant 28 pts
Andrew Bynum 9 pts, 11 rebs
    Lakers 18 Turnovers

Box Score: Lakers 85 Grizzlies 104

Horrible horrible game. Kobe again shot way way too much.
