The Milwaukee Bucks who selected Joe Alexander with the #8 pick in the 2008 NBA Draft will decline his contract option after this season. He will be the highest draft pick ever to have his rookie contract option declined.
The Bucks have until Monday to change their minds and pick up his option. Alexander will now become an unrestricted free agent next summer.
