    NEW YORK AND LOS ANGELES, Jan. 18, 2011 – Tickets to the 2011 T-Mobile Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam go on sale Wednesday, Jan. 19, at 10:00 a.m. PT (1:00 p.m. ET) at Ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-4-NBA-TIX, offering fans the opportunity to experience the fun and excitement of NBA All-Star in Los Angeles.


    The T-Mobile Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam, part of NBA All-Star 2011, will be played at STAPLES Center on Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 and will feature this year’s top rookies taking on the league’s best second-year players. Players that participated in last year’s game in Dallas included T-Mobile NBA Rookie of the Year winners Derrick Rose (2009) and Tyreke Evans (2010), Michael Beasley, Eric Gordon, Kevin Love, Brook Lopez, Russell Westbrook, Marc Gasol, O.J. Mayo, Stephen Curry, Brandon Jennings, and Jonny Flynn.


    Ticket deals will be available for families of all ages and sizes, through the T-Mobile Family Ticket Packs. Family Packs start at just $50, can be purchased in quantities of two to eight tickets, and include 2 upper bowl tickets, 10% off NBA All-Star 2011 merchandise coupons and two complimentary food vouchers valued at $15 each.

    The T-Mobile Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam will be played at STAPLES Center at 6:00 p.m. PT / 9:00 p.m. ET and feature this year’s top rookies taking on the league’s best second-year players. The participants are selected by the NBA’s assistant coaches and rosters will be announced at the end of January.
