Huge shocker of a trade for Boston. I dont know what they were thinking but the Thunder just got way better. They got Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson for Jeff Green and Nenad Krstic. Jeff Green will probably want a huge contract in the summer and his natural position is small forward. Thunder got what they really need in a legit center and legit scoring threat of the bench in Nate. On top of that, the Thunder also got a backup center in Nazr Mohammed for D.J. White and Mo Peterson. Thunder are looking really good today after these 2 trades.

The Boston Celtics simply sealed their fate, they wont be winning a championship without Perkins..I mean afterall it was the ONLY reason they didnt win it last year, remember?

Celts trade Perkins to Thunder for Green (AP)
The Boston Celtics have traded starting center Kendrick Perkins to the Oklahoma City Thunder and acquired forward Jeff Green. The Celtics also dealt reserve Nate Robinson to the Thunder and received Nenad Krstic, a future first-round draft pick, and cash in the deal that was approved by the NBA about five hours after Thursday's trade deadline.
