Well I know Kuester was brought into Detroit to find the fire that burns within Rodney Stuckey, however, he never could get it started. (inside joke)

The Los Angeles Lakers have hired John Kuester as an assistant under new coach Mike Brown, reuniting the duo who worked in Cleveland together. Kuester spent the last two seasons as coach of the Detroit Pistons before being fired June 5. Previously, he spent 14 years as an NBA assistant, working in Boston, Philadelphia, Detroit, New Jersey, Orlando and Cleveland, where he worked under Brown.
