It took this long to fire someone. After Kahn tried to see if Rambis would take another position with the organization. And we thought Kevin McHale was bad as a GM.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have fired coach Kurt Rambis after two seasons on the job. A person with knowledge of the decision told The Associated Press on Tuesday that Rambis has been fired. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the decision has not been announced by the team. Rambis was 32-132 in Minnesota, including an NBA-worst 17-65 last season.
