Nate Robinson Asks Knicks To Trade Him

Well its not like this was a surprise, but the agent for Nate Robinson has asked the Knicks to trade him. Nate has not played in the last eight games despite being perfectly healthy. This is looking like the Stephon Marbury situtation from last year. For a team that is trying to lure Lebron James to sign with the team next summer, this does not help how other free agents view the organization. If team chemistry and player coach relations are this bad, why would any major free agent want a part of it?

Guess D'Antoni doesn't like him. I mean he also drafted Nate when he was inPheonix and traded him to New York.

Well after this year, I have a feeling Al Harrington, Larry Hughes, David Lee, and Nate Robinson are all going to leave via free agency. So much for giving a surrounding cast for a possible Lebron signing. They should have drafted Brandon Jennings instead of Jordan Hill. I still think at the end of next summer, Joe Johnson and Amare Stoudemire will be the two free agents who sign with New York to play under Mike D'Antoni once again.

The NBA fined Nate Robinson $25K today for demanding a trade request.

I meant to say the Knicks have fined Nate Robinson $25K for comments detrimental to the NBA. This is the first time I have heard a player being fined for something his agent said.

Nate Robinson deserves it. He's been lacking in professionalism but all credit to him he hasn't create a big fuss....yet.

Having said that I think D'Antoni's gone a little too far. Enough already and play him. He brings fresh legs and a scerious scoring threat off the bench.
