Gilbert Arenas has pleaded guilty to felony gun charges. He will have to wait until March 26th to see what his sentencing is and if he faces any jail time. The Washington Wizards are trying to void his contract for his conduct. If Arenas serves jail time, the Wizards will be able to shed his salary. It will be interested to see if the Wizards decide to trade Antawn Jamison and Caron Butler in order to make a run at a free agent this summer. If they can void the contract of Arenas and make a few trades, they will have significant salary cap to add a top level free agent.
