He didn't repair his image with this response to what he thought about winning the Championship;"Its about damn time". If that doesn't make him seem arrogant, selfish and self absorbed, then I don't know what does. He's played 9 seasons, he hasn't even experienced any suffering. Players like Karl Malone, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, could have said that and it would have been OK.
