Hornets did good in this draft retooling with Davis and Rivers. For as late as they picked, the Celtics got a steal if Jared Sullinger is healthy. The biggest steal of the draft has got to be the Thunder. They got Perry Jones III who was slated as a Top 10 Lottery Pick before his knee problems.

In another strange ironic twist twice in one transaction. When the Lakers traded Lamar Odom and a 2nd Round Pick to Dallas last December, that second was pick was for pick #55 tonight. The Mavericks drafted Darius Johnson-Odom. They then traded him to the Lakers for cash considerations. The Lakers bought back their pick essentially and traded for a player named Odom. LOL!

Good to see Robbie Hummel end up getting drafted after all his injuries in college.

          WILLIE BUFORD DIDN'T GET DRAFTED?!?!?!?!!?

Love the Cavs draft. Waiters excites me, and Zeller was a projected lotto pick, so I'm OK with giving up a couple D-League level guys for him.

          Collecting: Browns/Cavaliers/Indians GU/Autos,
Ohio State Autos, Jamaal Charles GU/Autos,
          Johnson/Mears/
          Reutimann/Nadeau

Buford was a first round pick in most mocks with a few weeks left in the season as well

The Cavs could have done a lot better than Zeller and Waiters with their 4 picks. They should've just done the 4 and 24 for 2 to get beal. The holdup on that deal was the cavs who wanted the 31 from charlotte in such a deal. Zeller is a backup center and not as good as Varajeo. In the 2nd round the Cavs still would have been able to get Will Barton and Quincy Miller (neither of whom are D-Leaguers). Imagine Irving, Beal, Miller, Thompson, Varajeo as the starting unit with Barton as the 6th man. That is at least an 8th spot in the East for the playoffs. Now, the Cavs have Waiters (a good player, but one who needs the ball in his hands to be effective, which negates Irving's value) and Zeller (a player who shouldn't even start).

Beal was never an option. Charlotte said them and Cleveland were never even close on a deal.

Because Cavs wouldn't give up 24.
