  • Raptors Offer Landry Fields 3 Year $20 Million, Knicks Dont Match

Knicks' Fields agrees to offer sheet with Raptors - Yahoo! Sports

Another player who is getting more money than he is worth. What is going on? LOL!

NEW YORK (AP) -- Knicks guard Landry Fields could be on his way out of New York after agreeing to sign an offer sheet with the Toronto Raptors.

The Octagon agency confirmed the deal, reported Tuesday by ESPN.com to be for three years and about $20 million.

Since Fields is a restricted free agent, the Knicks will have three days to match the offer after it can be signed on July 11.

The second-round pick from Stanford in 2010 was a first-team, All-Rookie pick in 2011 and followed by starting 62 of the Knicks' 66 games last season, averaging 8.8 points.

Kind of smart by the Raptors. Landy is not worth $4 million let alone $8.5 per year, but by taking him out of the Knicks hand, there is no way Suns will do sign and trade with the Knicks and Nash will be left only with Dallas or the Raptors to choose from. Hope he picks Dallas to reunite with Dirk.

Raptors way overpaid. Nice going. LOL!

The Knicks have elected not to match Landry Fields' offer sheet with the Raptors.

Fields signed a three-year, $20 million deal with Toronto.
