The Brooklyn Nets have agreed to terms with restricted free-agent center Brook Lopez on a four-year, $60 million max contract, a league source confirmed to ESPNNewYork.com.
This effectively ends Brooklyn's pursuit of Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard, since Lopez can't be traded until Jan. 15 once he signs the contract, per rules of the collective bargaining agreement.
