Basketball Collecting

I would like to get some insight from others on how popular/valuable is basketball collecting. It's obvious that baseball is the premier sport to collect cards but how does basketball hold up? Ive never collected any other sport than baseball but I thought I would flirt with the basketball area. I mean basketball is my favorite sport

Well I just wanted to see what others had to say about collecting and investing in basketball.

It seems basketball is all about big cards like Exquisite since 2003. Basically its all Jordan, Kobe, Durant, Lebron, Kyrie, and Lillard right now.

Unfortunately, the team collector/low-end collecting section is weak in basketball. Most people gun for the big three (MJ,Lebron, Kobe) or the hot rookies (Irving, Lillard).
