  • NBA All Rookie Team Announced

    Y! SPORTS

Wow Gladdy. Two Pistons made it. How did Kyle Singler make it? LOL!

Portland Trail Blazers Damian Lillard, the unanimous selection for the 2012-13 Kia NBA Rookie of the Year, headlines the 2012-13 NBA All-Rookie First Team.

Lillard received 29 first-place votes for 58 points, making him the only unanimous First-Team selection. The Washington Wizards' Bradley Beal and the New Orleans Hornets' Anthony Davis totaled 57 points each, while Dion Waiters of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Harrison Barnes of the Golden State Warriors round out the first team.

The voting panel consisted of the NBA's 30 head coaches, who selected five players for the first team and five players for the second team, regardless of position. They weren't allowed to vote for players on their own team.

Lillard led all first-year players in scoring (19.0 ppg), assists (6.5 apg) and minutes (38.6 mpg).

The second team consisted of the Detroit Pistons' Andre Drummond, the Toronto Raptors' Jonas Valanciunas, the Charlotte Bobcats' Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, the Detroit Pistons' Kyle Singler and the Cavaliers' Tyler Zeller.

Guess the rookie class really was THAT awful if some of those guys cracked 2nd team (Zeller, Singler).

Drummond should be on the 1st team.
