Robert Sacre has re-signed with the Los Angeles Lakers on a fully guaranteed, multi-year contract, a league source told RealGM.
The Lakers extended Sacre a qualifying offer before free agency, and both sides wanted a return beyond that one season proposal.
Sacre, the 24-year-old center, was selected by the Lakers with the 60th overall pick in last year’s draft, and he averaged 1.3 points and 1.1 rebounds in 32 games as a rookie – mostly serving as insurance in the frontcourt and an active presence in practices.
