  • Jannero Pargo Resigns With Bobcats

Bobcats reach one-year deal with Jannero Pargo | ProBasketballTalk

Kemba Walker is going to get the starters minutes at the point in Charlotte, when he sits veteran Ramon Sessions will be on the court.

But the Bobcats wanted a third point guard on the roster, so they have reached a one-year, $1.4 million deal with Jannero Pargo, reports Chris Haynes of CSNNW.com. That is a league minimum deal.

Pargo is an NBA journeyman, but he had one of the best stretches of his career in the 18 games he was with the Bobcats last season (he also spent time with the Wizards and Hawks). He averaged 8.4 points and 1.9 assists per game with Charlotte last season. Pargo also had conversations with the Knicks and other teams, but will return to Charlotte.

Pargo will work out fine for a third-string, minimum deal guy.
