Was really upset the Wizards got beaten by the Hawks in round 2. Dang it if that 3 pointer at the end of the last game had been just a few miliseconds sooner, they would have gone into OT.
The Wizards had an excellent season. To make it to the Playoffs is a major achievement to make it to Round 2 even bigger. Much better than the team had been in several years.
I just hope they don't turn into the Capitals getting to the playoffs every year, sometimes not and getting eliminated during the opening rounds and rarely making round 2.I collect Redskins, Rams, Captials, Nationals, Washington Senators (Old Baseball not the Canadian Hockey team), Orioles, Bullets/Wizards, Non-Sport, Autos and HOFers. A few thoughts after 5 games:
1) Klay Thompsen and Timofey Mozeltof are a lot better than I thought. Sure LeBron and Steph are doing there thing.
2.) If Irving and Love were playing this series would probably be over at 4-1
3.) LeBron and Steph are two completely different super stars who came from completely different routes to the NBA. I admire both of them for what they are doing and how they got to where they are. LeBron has been famous since he was 14 years old and Steph has always been told he is too small and doesn't play the game the right way - whatever that is.Favorite baseball players include: Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton, Kirby Puckett, Pete Rose, Tyler Colvin Mark Appel
