    Kobe Signs Extension

    Kobe Bryant has signed a three-year contract extension with the Los Angeles Lakers, the team announced Friday.

    The deal will keep Bryant a Laker through the 2013-14 season.

      I have no clue what took him so long. Everyone knew he was not going to go anywhere. But this is good news. Lets hope the Lakers can use this news and win their game tonight.

            Kobe's extension is worth $83.5 million and includes a no-trade clause. Under his current contract, Bryant is due to earn $24.8 million next season. The extension begins in the 2011-12 season, when he will earn $25.2 million. He’ll get $27.8 million in 2012-13 and $30.5 million in his final year, 2013-14.
