Newbie Collector from Italy seeking advice (Kobe, Lakers, Jordan)

Hi there, my name is Osvaldo and I come from Italy, I'm a big fan of Kobe (he grow up in Italy) and Lakers mostly, but also of Michael Jordan, so I wanted to start a collection of these team/players.
I want to begin with Kobe and I was thinking of starting with rookie cards and then gradually go with something better and pricey (autos etc.), so considering that in Italy there are no card shops at all and not a lot of cards collector, all purchases/trades will be online, so every tip and advice on buying/storage and to run a proper collection will be appreciated.

Hi welcome. EBAY would be an ideal place to get cards. Check listings on there as some sellers may not ship international. It could also cost a lot for shipping.

As for storage, try using Ultra Pro 9 card holders to store the cards and then place them inside a D Ring Binder.
