Price spent last season with the Phoenix Suns, averaging 5.3 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.

Price has played in over 500 career NBA games despite going undrafted in 2005.

The Oklahoma City Thunder waived guard Ronnie Price – who signed a guaranteed $5 million deal in the offseason – to keep rookie Semaj Christon.

Price, an 11-year NBA veteran, provided Oklahoma City with a stable backup for Russell Westbrook, but the youth and scoring ability of Christon appealed to the Thunder.
