Texans, Pro Bowl TE Daniels reach deal (AP)

A person familiar with the negotiations says Pro Bowl tight end Owen Daniels has agreed to a new contract with the Houston Texans. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because Daniels had not yet signed the deal. Daniels did not immediately return a phone message Thursday.
