Jaguars: Rookie QB Gabbert has real chance to start

Tania Ganguli, from the Florida Times-Union, reports the Jaguars will not sit rookie QB Blaine Gabbert for the sake of development. If he beats out David Garrard he will be the starter.

I think Gabbert is the franchise QB of the future, but the future could be now for Jacksonville. It's certainly a make or break year for Garrard and head coach Jack Del Rio.

They still need a line and let MJD run free and catch passes and Gabbert is pretty smart and I think he will be in very soon because Garrard days are numbered. The fans of Jacksonville want a quick fix. Would be nice to see MJD have another super year and Gabbert have a super rookie year.
