  • Saints and Texans Both Win to advance

Texans win first playoff game, 31-10 over Bengals

Saints open playoffs with 45-28 win over Lions

Really not a ton to write about. The Bengals looked overwhelmed by the crowd and moment. Not surprising considering the 2 best players are rookies. They should be proud of what they done and will just get stronger

The Lions defense just had no answers. Even the line was letting Pierre Thomas truck them. However it can not go unnoticed that Calvin Johnson is playing at a whole different level then ANYONE in the league(12rec 211yrds 2tds)
Last but not least Saints will have to tighten down on defense or Rodgers will have a field day

Foster for Houston and the entire Saints offense played great. I also thought Stafford played really well. Bengals were pretenders to me and the Lions defense just stunk, but the better team in both games moves on!

All you have to do is watch that Oakland game and realize Calvin is 2nd to none in this league. These types of performances has become expected. Likely why he leads all of All Pro voting.
IF the Lions had any sort of run game to keep the Saints off the field and chew clock I think they win..

Good story for the Texans. N.O. looks hard to beat. I sure hope they play G.B. in the championship. That will be an AWESOME game!!

I'd like to see the Saints win another Super Bowl.
