  • Randy Moss Wants To Return To NFL

Randy Moss plans NFL comeback - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

Randy Moss once said, “I play when I want to play.”

Six months after retiring, the veteran NFL wide receiver wants to play again.

    Moss announced on a webchat Monday—his 35th birthday—that he’s planning a comeback.

I think Moss is probably the most talented football that never could get his rear in gear and play to his full potential for years. Therefore I have mixed thoughts on if he should return. He had AMPLE opportunity to show that he wanted to play two years ago with the Titans, but apparently that wasn't good enough for him. Moss isn't as big of a off-the-field problem as TO is but he still is a problem. He might have the talent but his head might be the thing not allowing him to make this "comeback" he wants to.

I agree with sportscardrage and he may get picked up but his head better be in the game or he will be unemployed again!

He has never blocked and has avoided contact throughout his career. So his body isn't beat up. He just needs a coach to kick him in the a** and make him play.

I expected this, but at this point, I couldn't guess where he'll end up.

Da Bears talk has been there the last couple of years. I don't see that happening because he would have to block. I could see the Saints, Jets, and Patriots calling him. Saints because they pass 80% of the time, Jets because Ryan always wins the Super Bowl, Patriots because Giselle wants receivers that can catch the ball.

Saints would be a good pick with Brees passing most of the time. Moss doesn't play defense a lot that is true.
