    Not unexpected there were talks at the end of the season that he was going to get cut. Now with the salary cap penalty they received this past week it was pretty much guaranteed he was getting axed.

    I'm not sure we're he will land, I know CB is a premium possession in the NFL but well Newman really isn't young anymore. He might grab a one or two year contract at best, who knows for sure were though.

        He was a nice player and should be a decent backup at this stage of his career.
