Marshawn Lynch was arrested for driving under the influence in his hometown of Oakland Saturday.
Lynch was arrested after a traffic stop on the highway. Police say he submitted to a chemical test, which showed his BAC was over the .08 limit. They declined to reveal exactly what his level was. Lynch's checkered history with the law certainly makes him a likely candidate for suspension. His license was revoked in 2008 when he struck a woman with his car outside a Buffalo bar in 2008. He was also suspended for three games in 2009 after getting slapped with a misdemeanor weapons charge. If/when Lynch misses games, rookie Robert Turbin and Leon Washington are in-house candidates to fill in.
