Jaguars agreed to terms with No. 5 overall pick WR Justin Blackmon on a four-year contract.
Per the Florida Times Union's Vito Stellino, Blackmon should officially sign his contract and report to camp on Tuesday. It's unclear what, if any, protective language is included in the deal following Blackmon's June DUI arrest. The Jaguars' insistence on protecting themselves against further off-the-field issues from Blackmon was the primary reason he was the lone remaining rookie holdout. Blackmon won't be ready for Friday's preseason opener, but with Laurent Robinson drawing mixed reviews in his first Jags camp, Blackmon could assert himself as Jax's No. 1 receiver relatively quickly.
