Forte is doubtful to return with ankle injury Matt Forte was sent to the locker room with a right ankle injury in the third quarter of Thursday's game versus the Packers.
Forte tried to cut on the sidelines after getting his ankle taped, but it was to no avail. Carrying over his stellar play from Week 1, Forte had 80 of the Bears' 120 yards at the time of exit. He's been all the Bears have on offense through two and a half quarters. According to NFL Network's Alex Flanagan, Forte is doubtful to return for the final quarter and a half.
