Interim coach Joe Vitt shot down speculation that fourth-string RB Chris Ivory could be shopped at the trade deadline.
Ivory has expressed frustration with his limited role of late. "Chris ain't going nowhere," snapped Vitt when asked. Realizing the Packers and Cardinals could use a power back of Ivory's caliber, perhaps Vitt is merely playing hard to get. Although Ivory has yet to play a snap this season, the Saints do value him as between-the-tackles insurance for Mark Ingram and Pierre Thomas.
