Bucs CB Eric Wright has lost his appeal of his four-game suspension for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances, and will begin serving his ban immediately.
He'll be eligible to return in Week 17. Wright's play has been shaky as he's suited up through an Achilles' issue, but it's a major blow for the league's No. 32 pass defense. A unit that can't stop anybody will be forced to go with E.J. Biggers and Leonard Johnson as Tampa makes its playoff push. The Bucs will be tasked with slowing down Peyton Manning and Drew Brees in two of their next four games. They won't succeed.
