IRVING, Texas -- DeMarcus Ware's fourth quarter roughing-the-passer penalty last Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers did not cost the Dallas Cowboys, but it ultimately cost the All-Pro linebacker $15,750, according to a source.

Ware was fined by the NFL for his hit on Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. As he came off the edge, Ware hit Roethlisberger in the back of the helmet with his right arm, which drew the penalty.

The Cowboys came up with sacks on the next two plays and ended up forcing a punt.

Running back DeMarco Murray was fined $7,875 for a face mask that was not called as a penalty on a first-quarter run, according to a source.

Left guard Nate Livings was not fined for an illegal use of hands penalty in the fourth quarter.

He was goin for the ball but Ben's huge head got in the way... not D Ware's fault! It did, though, start a chain reaction of bad plays culminating in B Carr's I.N.T.!!!!
